GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION

These General Terms and Conditions of Participation apply between Bicycle Network and the respective participant when the participant participates in the Bicycle Network Commuter Challenge by agreeing to these General Terms and Conditions.

Use of App and Map Material

Bicycle Network is the provider of the Bicycle Network Commuter Challenge. The rights to use the Bike Citizens app and/or the map material result from the contractual relationship between the respective participant and the provider of the app: Bike Citizens.

Eligibility and Rules

Participation takes place via the Bicycle Network Commuter Challenge in the Bike Citizens App. Eligible to participate in the Bicycle Network Commuter Challenge are all employees of Bicycle Network. Participation is only possible in teams of at least two and at most five people. Participation in the Bicycle Network Commuter Challenge is free of charge for participants. Fees may be charged to third parties for the use of the required internet connection or when activating Premium functions in the Bike Citizens app. The activation of Premium functions is not a prerequisite for participation in the Bicycle Network Commuter Challenge. For successful participation, the bike rides must be recorded with the app. For this purpose, tracking must be started before each ride (e. g. via the Bike Citizens widget or directly in the app via the ride tracking in the menu item „Map“). On Android smartphones, the Smart Tracking function can also be activated.
The aim of Bicycle Network Commuter Challenge is to achieve as many points as possible by recording the bicycle journeys from/to Bicycle Network Commuter Challenge and thus to raise awareness for environmentally friendly mobility as well as health. Participants are not allowed to manipulate the results by using means of transport other than bicycles or in any other way.
Participants can be contacted by Bicycle Network for campaign communication via their email address provided during registration.

Exclusion of Participants

Bicycle Network reserves the right to exclude individual participants or teams from the campaign who have culpably violated these General Terms and Conditions of Participation or the rules of the game.

Termination of Participation by Participants

Participants are entitled to end their participation in the Bicycle Network Commuter Challenge at any time by selecting the „Exit Campaign“ button in the personal app settings of the campaign.
